Users have the right to express themselves in their digital world, however, they also need to understand how to use technology in an appropriate manner. Schools could include being a good digital citizen with other programs they have in place, such as Character Counts. Teachers could also include being a good citizen in their lessons. The Nine Elements of Digital Citizenship is a good source to use. Our daily lives involve Rights and Responsibilities; the digital world should be included.
