Conceptional Science Framework Physical Science- Geisler (Clausen)

madisonclausen1995@gmail.com
After reading the section on Physical Science from the Science Conceptual Framework:

what were some new learnings-By the end of grade 2, students should know when objects touch or collide, they push on one another and can change motion or shape.

something that you may have already known-An understanding of the forces between objects is important for describing how their motions change, as well as for predicting stability or instability in systems at any scale.

What preconceptions do you anticipate your students will have about topics found in this standard?- Objects may be able to move on their own.

What are some ways you plan on addressing these preconceptions?
- Discuss Newtons laws of motion, teach students the different forces and show examples of the forces to the students.
