Hello everyone! I am currently upgrading the electrical panels in our shop, and as part of this project, my safety officer recommended putting in a tube-based fire suppression system in the panel. I understand it uses a pressurized tube that ruptures when heated to immediately extinguish a fire. Has anyone used this system before? Does it really work as quickly as claimed? I want to ensure this is a dependable purchase so that I do not have to worry about false alarms. If anyone has any real-world experience with these systems, I would like to hear your story!
