Discuss the following:

- What can exploring art do for enhancing and developing career skills?
Exploring art can help people to think creatively and critically on a more independent level. By doing this, they are able to look at an item or project, decide how they feel about it and come up with ways to improve it or ways they would do it differently. These skills could overflow into projects in their career.

- What types of technologies have you used that shares a link with art?
My students have several apps on their iPads and one of the most popular apps is the "Pottery Master". Students are able to virtually make their own clay pots with various color and design options.

- What are your "takeaways" from the article and videos?
I have not done the best at incorporating art into my classroom over the years. I enjoyed hearing and learning about the different ways art can be used and understood.

At my school we have a period of time called "SOAR". This time is used to meet the students needs. We have an intervention class, enrichment class, and others go to band. The app you mentioned, "Pottery Master", sounds like an awesome app that could be used in the enrichment class!
