I follow "Future Ready Librarians" which is a global group of teacher-librarians. It is a wonderful resource for anyone in the T-L profession. I get ideas for books and promotions, etc. It is also a place to find advice for challenging situations; more recently the recent trend in challenging books.
On a personal level I am a member of a global group for cancer. I was diagnosed with a very rare blood cancer and no one in my part of the state has it. This FB support group is specific to my Waldrenstroms diagnosis. I'm not sure anyone in Iowa even has it as I have not found anyone in the group to be from Iowa. This group supported me through chemo and the after effects of treatment.
