I personally prefer to use my facebook account to keep in touch with friends and family I know outside of work. I like to post personal pictures and thoughts, so I try to limit the "friends" following me to those I feel comfortable viewing these posts. I would create a different account to use for work and school that would limit how much personal information would be shared with acquaintances.
