I have used Facebook for years to communicate with parents and teachers in our community. I follow many of the local organizations, school and student groups, as well as am friends with many parents. Since we are a small community, I find that Facebook reminders and messages about school events travel quickly to parents that I may not be friends with personally.

I also really like Words, Words, Words.
My rule is not to friend students until they are out of my building, and then only at their request. Setting up a separate page for just school would solve that problem.
