Facebook is a great and easy way to connect with a variety of people. Friends, colleagues, other teachers, and former students. I personally enjoy seeing former students of mine succeed and grow as adults after finishing their education. One group that I am a member of is Technology Integration for teachers. Our former tech coordinator runs it and it is a a great place to connect and get ideas from other teachers in the group. She will post new and interesting ideas to use in the classroom. However, the aspect I like the most is that she encourages people to post in their with questions or issues they are having to get ideas and supports from other educators.
