Of all the social media platforms perused in this course so far, Facebook is the one I am most familiar with. I have found Facebook to be very beneficial to my professional career. For example, when I was on a mission to find successful alumni to feature on our website and share with our students and staff---Facebook was a miracle worker! I could connect to almost anyone I needed anywhere in the world! The only drawback I'm finding lately, is that our high school students are not Facebookers...they're Instagram & Snapchat people---so there's a disconnection with some of what we try to do...but it is still an effective tool to communicate with their parents!
I'm debating on starting a counseling office page...verdict is still out on that one!
