I originally joined Facebook so that I could have a business page for my child care business. I belong to many different groups that focus on education, community and volunteering. One group that seems to get a lot of activity is Teacher's Classroom Resale - posts about items that teachers are selling as well as advice for any type of teaching question. Sensory Activities for Children of All Ages - Kate Hawkins - so many fun activities and Process Art - MaryAnn Kohl.
When I find inspirational articles or educational information that is important, I will post it on Facebook so that the parents at my child care learning center have access to read it if they are interested. I also mention to them if I felt the article was very informative in hopes of finding out if they viewed the article and would like to discuss.
