I work as a math consultant. A powerful new professional book for K-5 teachers is Mathematics in Practice. They have a FB group to support the materials. Also, there is a very large community of teachers blogging and on Twitter. They have formed MTBos, or Math Twitter Blogosphere. Basically it's a group of mostly secondary teachers (some elementary) blogging about their instruction and student learning. There are many great ideas being shared. Follow them on Twitter and FB to find individual blogs/teachers to follow.
