I have had a Facebook account for several years and have mostly used it as a personal way to connect with friends and colleagues. I have also added a Facebook Page to my personal account for my husband's political campaign. The campaign page has always been deactivated when not in an election year cycle. However, after the highly controversial, negative banter that has taken place on Facebook since the 2016 election, I've also had my personal page deactivated. I did reactivate it for this class and hope to be able to use it to do some professional searching without having to read and view political bashing at its best. I also hope to learn more in the upcoming sections of this module on how Facebook could be used in the classroom. With it being blocked in many school districts, I'm intrigued to learn how I could use it in an elementary setting. Some teacher connections I'd like to check out include:
