Facebook

I follow a wide variety of groups on Facebook and have Kiwanis friends and connections from around the world based on a geography focused project through Facebook that I did with children in my afterschool program several years ago. I enjoy seeing all of the different projects people are doing to help children around the world.

I tend to follow topics focusing on children's issues such as the Children's Movement of Florida and Ruby Payne's page on poverty issues for children and families.  I also follow ecological focus pages such as Eco Warrior Princess, Progress Iowa and No Bakken Pipeline and Off-grid and Homestead Living.
