I have had a Facebook account for several years. I use it to keep up with family and only close friends. I do like to maintain some privacy in my life so my friend circle is limited to people that are actually my friends. I follow my children's school and my church as well and watch for postings of new events happening. I don't currently have a classroom but can see how Facebook could be an amazing tool to connect with parents and form a tighter classroom community with parents.
