I use Facebook in my personal life to connect with people I don't see all the time. In the classroom, I do not use Facebook. One main thing is that Facebook is blocked at our school, so to use it would not be very efficient. I know that there have been some other co-curricular coaches that have used it for keeping in contact with the parents and participants (past and present). There are some groups that I follow in this way. One is the DNH sports page. The main problem is that it is hosted by a parent, so it is probably not a true representation of the extracurricular programs. Another group is the DNH Class of 1996. This is a way that my graduating class can stay in contact.
