Facebook has proven to be very useful for communication between school and home for myself and my family. Our local school posts useful information on facebook. I belong (or have belonged) to groups my children have participated in like track, cross country and orchestra. These groups have been a good source of scheduling information, sharing photos of events, and building a sense of "team".
