Social Media in Education (EdSoMe) is another great Facebook resource for teachers. The page posts a lot of links that are helpful for anyone looking to integrate social media into their classroom.
I would also recommend following your local school/school district on Facebook if they have a page set up. This is a great way to get updates about events and deadlines in your school district, and seeing reminders on a site that most of us use frequently makes it much easier to remember and stay in the loop.
