Some Facebook groups that I enjoy as a high school math teacher include Geogebra and Awesome Math Teachers.
As a teacher, I have used Facebook groups for student council to help keep kids updated on what we were working on and when meetings would occur. I also use it for a group that I manage for the local Park and Rec teams to make announcements about different registrations and activities that are occurring.
