What can exploring art do for enhancing and developing career skills?
I think art can enhance career skills in many ways. Most prominently, I think art improves problem solving skills and also experimentation. Since there is not a clear "correct" answer when making art, I think students are more apt to try a new method or idea that came up with. If that idea wasn't successful, they can still use what they tried and turn it into something else. This teaches flexibility and endurance to not give up when faced with a problem.

What types of technologies have you used that shares a link with art? Include at least one link to a technology that could be used in the classroom.
This past year was a huge year of growth from a technology standpoint in my teaching. Having to teach in-person and also online, I incorporated a lot more technology into my lessons than in the past. I made interactive presentations that kids used to make their project choices and learn the material for the week, while also becoming proficient in creating my own content videos. With google drawing and slides I was able to create my presentations and utilized websites and videos to create virtual "field trips" and "guest speakers". One great site that I included was the Louvre for Kids. https://louvrekids.louvre.fr/

What are your "takeaways" from the article and videos?
Incorporating technologies into your curriculum benefits everyone and ensures that students of different abilities can be successful and find pride in their work. I really enjoyed the Kandinsky lesson and videos. I think the way the instructor didn't use just painting and also incorporated sewing was really great. I can see students that may not enjoy painting so much really get engaged in a project like this because there were multiple creative components like tearing paper and sewing.
