What can exploring art do for enhancing and developing career skills?
Everything overlaps with art!!! Even being a teacher, using sketchnoting, drawing something on the board... We use art constantly. Other careers are just the same. An architect is drawing! A chef is making a masterpiece by plating their food. Developing art skills young can help in many career fields.
What types of technologies have you used that shares a link with art? Include at least one link to a technology that could be used in the classroom.
We use book creator,
https://bookcreator.com/ in the classroom. This allows my students to write a story and then create their own book. They can use their own fingers to draw pictures, add color, backgrounds, images... the sky is the limit.
What are your "takeaways" from the article and videos?
I really enjoyed watching the threading art video. When I see new things that I've never thought about before it continues to open my eyes wider and wider. The articles have really established the point that fine arts are instrumental in young children.
