Exploring art promotes creative and critical thinking skills. These skills help people connect and network with other people around them. Whether it is in a work setting or an everyday life setting, these skills along with positive communication skills and interpersonal skills will promote life itself. Creating something with a group of co-workers is one of the best feelings and achievements in one’s career.

With the online and hybrid learning this past year, I have used several technologies in the classroom. From a Bitmoji character, to creating a choice board, to using interactive Boom Cards. The visual and creative aspects of learning have never been so important. These visual arts and activities help promote their daily education and keeps them motivated to learn. https://wow.boomlearning.com/

My “takeway” from the article and videos is that art can bring people together and motivate people to learn. Everyone is unique and has different interests, experiences, and difficulties. It is those things that tap into peoples creative and critical thinking skills. Students need to have the opportunities to learn through visual art, drama, music, technology, etc. to figure out what works best for them and motivates them.
