What can exploring art do for enhancing and developing career skills?
Art is such a unique thing and every person has their own interpretation of art. Art has a way of making people thing outside of the box and allowing others to step outside of their comfort zones to explore new idea. I believe that having that ability to use art in your career to help you strive in so many ways. You will be able to create new ideas to share with co-workers and it makes work a more enjoyable place to be.
What types of technologies have you used that share a link with art?
The website where I go to get all my art related ideas is Pinterest. My favorite thing about Pinterest is that I can type in exactly what type of art of activity I am looking for and a variety of options come up to pick from . I use Pinterest for ideas on how to decorate my classroom and hands-on, art activities to incorporate in my general education classroom. One website that I used last year for my reading class is called PowToons. PowToons is a online video maker. When I used this in my reading class I had my students create a cartoon about the tall tale I had them create.

One of my biggest takeaways was having students draw what a piece of music reminded them of and made them thing of. I think this is such a unique way for students to explore what they are thinking and transforming it onto paper, I also think this is a good way to show students that everyone thinks of something differently and not one drawing is going to look exactly like another.
