Gmail

I'm a little blown away by the things that gmail can do. For instance, I had no idea there was a hangouts function or a translate function. I've taught in a district that is roughly 30% hispanic and communication is often a problem. By using the translate function, the transition can be a much smoother one, and also one where students don't have to sacrifice content learning due to language.

I like the translation also. I have had students that would translate to parents because of the language barrier.

I have learned that this option can also be used in Google Classroom to translate materials and documents!!! I am interested in playing with this option.
