Inappropriate Use Digital Media

I have had a multitude of students that have shared personal messages or pictures online and were then sent to a multitude of people it was not intended for.  In many of these cases it spread very quickly and led to the embarrassment of an individual.  As a coach I also had somebody misunderstand a situation at a sporting event and then made a negative post that wasn't true.  It's important that kids have an understanding of how they can be taken advantage of by people they trust.  As for the second example adults like kids will often posts and repost about things that they weren't there for or don't know what the actual truth is.
