Instructor Example

The first row of icons/links in my webmix really illustrate my context. I grew up in Decorah, Iowa. I received my undergraduate degrees from UNI (elementary/middle school education/English) and my Masters from Drake. It also gives some insight into where I am today. I live in Waukee, Iowa and work for AEA PD Online. The next row includes things that I am interested in and passionate about outside of where I work. I love fitness and working out so I've included a couple of links to sites that I visit regularly. I also enjoy decorating and to use the old fashioned term, "keeping house". Sites like Houzz really inspire me. The tiles for The Teaching Channel, Twitter, and Blogger really illustrate some of my main sources for information about teaching and learning. I like the wide variety of things that I can learn about on twitter and the depth of information that I can get from sites like the Teaching Channel and blogs. Finally, I include a series of tiles that I like to use when learning/working. These include gmail, google docs, and Iowa AEA Online Resources. All three of these resources keep me efficient and productive.
