Is there a real difference with certified dealers or just marketing?

michaeljones
I'm planning to replace my SUV's battery before summer really hits, and I've been reading up on warranties and installation quality because last time a small garage gave me some no-name brand that leaked after eight months. Now I keep seeing people mention that going through a Certified Amaron Battery Dealer Dubai actually matters for the warranty to be valid and for getting genuine stock, but I'm wondering if that's just a way to charge more or if it genuinely makes a difference when something goes wrong. Has anyone here had a claim rejected because they bought from a non certified shop? I don't mind paying a bit extra if it means I won't get stuck with a dead battery and no support, but I also don't want to fall for fancy labels if the product itself is identical. Would love to hear real experiences before I decide where to go this weekend.
