KAHOOT! And Blooket

Heather Stivers
The school that I work for uses KAHOOT for lots of activities.  You can make review games that they can use to improve their scores.  They also love to have fun while learning.  Kids can also make their own BLOOKET to share with the class as a project.

LOVE Kahoot! I used this a lot in upper grades. I haven't used Blooket yet, but I've heard great things. I'd love to try it!

I also enjoy using Kahoot! and am glad when I see it on the sub plans for the day.  I will have to explore BLOOKET.  I like to have a few ideas in my back pocket for the sub assignment where I might be without sub plans or not enough provided material.

I have loved using Kahoot with my first grade students! They are so engaged and interested when we play a Kahoot game. I love the feature of having them practice the questions they answer incorrectly after the game as well.

We have a few teachers at our school who use Kahoot! And Booklet.  The students really seem to enjoy this and most seem to really try.

Blooket is a favorite for the kids I sub in elementary school. They love competing aspect of the game.

I LOVE Kahoot! As a teacher librarian, I use it when I need a filler for the last couple of minutes of class for quick and easy book quizzes, I use it to review how to use our online catalog and complete searches, and I use it for our elementary battle of the book quizzes. It's so easy to make your own Kahoot and the kids love the friendly competition - although I do have to remind them often to not get too loud and crazy!

I like those two platforms and Quizlet as well. Kids love the competition between each other, and it makes learning fun!

The kids are having so much fun they don't realize they're learning.
