I agree that I like to distinguish my personal facebook use from my professional facebook use. I do like to follow my local schools facebook pages and may comment or reply to an event they have posted. Also, some of my kids' teachers have professional facebook pages and I have enjoyed them. It was used more as a tool for their teachers to communicate with parents- since the students themselves were too young to use facebook.
