Norms & Responsibilities - C. Cassidy

Free speech to a certain point. It should be treated the same as Freedom of Speech in society. If you’re threatening and making others feel unsafe, that is one of the limits of Free Speech.

It would be nice if you could share moments in your life without people feeling the need to leave mean comments, but I don’t see that changing.

Completely agree with your statement about posting memorable moments online. Friends and family who do not live close like to stay in touch with you and like the pictures that are posted, but there are some people who want to make you as miserable as they are.

I agree and posted something similar. Free Speech is a right and a responsibility.
People online are too quick to claim "Free Speech" as a shield so they can spew hateful, toxic and untruthful information. Free speech does not mean you are free from the consequences of that speech.
I think that because online interactions are not face-to-face, users feel they can act more disrespectfully than they normally would.
