What can exploring art do for enhancing and developing career skills?
Art exploration can do a lot of great things for someone exploring skills for a career. First of all there are many examples of art being used in a field nearly everywhere you look. It could be the product layout in a supermarket, even alignment of toppings on your pizza that was delivered, its used by teachers daily, and even picking colors for graphs and charts in an office setting. Even with all of this, there is even more importance. In art, it is very crucial to complete a project or a piece your working on, this is also very important in a career field. Art can teach someone to not give up on something they started and teaches you to see a project through to the end.

What types of technologies have you used that shares a link with art? Include at least one link to a technology that could be used in the classroom.

In our classrooms we use Chromebooks on a daily basis, text books have become virtual, with it so have the activities. Many of these activities have you either doing a drawing or finding a descriptive picture to use as a visual aid. All of these are ways technology uses art.

What are your "takeaways" from the article and videos?
These videos hit home with me as I am a special education teacher, and I do work with behaviors very frequently. Many of the concepts discussed I had heard before, but some had been forgotten, or just tucked away and not used. My take away is just remembering that not all students are dealt the same hand, and the amount of "poker chips" each student has will drastically effect what they will be willing to do in class.
