I love facebook! I've created a private page for my family who are spread out from one coast to the other and our church youth group. It's a great way to stay in touch and keep abreast of events and activities that interest you. There are certain festivals and craft sales that friends and I attend every year and fb keeps us linked to those so we know when and where they will be.
The advantage of facebook over Twitter, Snapchat, and Instagram is that you aren't limited to text or the number of characters you use. You can post videos, pictures and text. You can join groups with which you have common interests.
