I follow and recommend following Living History Farms (@LHFarms) and Ben Jacobs (@Bencjacobs) for news.

I was looking for local things to follow as I set up my account. I didn't even think of Living History Farms. What a great resource! I can't believe I didn't think of it. Thanks for posting it! In second grade we study communities. The farm features 3 different ones. I think it will come in handy.

Thank you for suggesting Living History Farms.  When I lived in Des Moines and worked in Special Ed, we often took our students there for very interesting field trips.  I too think this is a wonderful site to follow. I highly recommend following Living Farms on Twitter especially for school students. Something for all ages.
