First of all, I've had my account for a few years and have extensive privacy settings...I do not have a photo. I only 'friend' relatives and about 3 or 4 other people. (So, I do not know if you will be able to find me online.) I was happy to read that upon seeing pictures of "people you may know," but don't actually know, you can do something about . I get frustrated seeing lots of unfamiliar faces that I'm being encouraged to 'friend.' Nice to know that I can now start eliminating this. Secondly, I have found the group Glenwood Buzz of interest as well as the group Glenwood Swap. Glenwood Buzz is full of lost and found pets, questions about where to find building contractors and information on where the firetruck was headed this past evening. Glenwood Swap allows folks to peddle just about anything but animals and firearms. The town of Glenwood has a population of about 5000 people. These sites provide an incredible amount of communication within the town. The sites can sound like gossip at times, but hey, it is facebook.
