I know this was not on any of the lists, but I have started using Pinterest in my class and my students love it.  It is an excellent way for students to independently find information and then "Save / Share" it to a communal board for later reference.  My students have used it for both  independent Genius Hour projects as well as group projects. It takes some setting up and explaining but once all is said and done, it's fabulous!
