What can exploring art do for enhancing and developing career skills?
What types of technologies have you used that shares a link with art? Include at least one link to a technology that could be used in the classroom.
What are your "takeaways" from the article and videos?

Exploring art can help enhance and develop career skills because art gives a different perspective on things. As I was reading, the article stated that the children who are close to dropping out- when they find art they become better versions of themselves and find a certain meaning. When children are motivated especially at a young age, their imaginations and creativity can sore. I loved the idea of using the technology of the website where students can create their own buildings or go off of something that has already been created. I know that trade schools are just as important for students so to have the option of architecture and creating their own buildings, you don't see that often! You see lots of painters or sculptures but again, hands on art that will lead to career skills outside of the norm is cool to see.
My takeaways are that any chance you get to incorporate art, do it! When my students are working I love to play music just for them to sing to. I haven't used any art technology in my classroom but I know they would enjoy GarageBand or a sort of website where they can create their own music especially in the times of COVID.
