I'm still trying to sort through how I feel about this.  To be honest, as a learner myself, this is definitely not the best for my learning style. I am more motivated by real-life discussions and posting on forums feels very disconnected. Scrolling through screens doesn't feel much different than turning pages in a textbook. I'm sure there are adults/students that benefit from this kind of instruction, but I think it is a learning style preference that isn't specific to self-motivated learners or advanced learners. But yet, I'm not sure what my solution is either.
