The animoto.com site is a fun way for students to make recordings for presentations. I plan to use this site to teach students how to create a book trailer for their favorite book or a book they have just finished reading. The students are familiar with the book trailers created to advertise the Scholastic Book Fair twice a year in our district. This activity could also be used to create book trailers or book reviews for the Iowa Children's Choice and Iowa Goldfinch Award Nominees. This will intern create more interest in reading books through student driven participation.
