Answer to the assignment to explore website resources

I am answering the assignment question:
Share: Explore at least one site in each section. Share a specific resource you have found and how you might use this site with students.

I explored Animoto. I've had students in the past write creative stories and ask me to put them to background music. I didn't know how and felt bad that they were so into it and ready to do more then I let the ball drop due to my technological ignorance. Now I think I could use this site help me do that in a slide show format.

Thank you for sharing your information on Animoto. I guess it never dawned on me that you could add music to creative stories. It sounds perfect for my eighth grade students to venture into.

Another idea for the assignment could be to involve another class with the creativity. Individuals from band or chorus could add a music piece, or art class students could add a piece of art relating to the stories. Just a thought!
