I can see a lot of great ways to use Canva. Students can use it to create visual presentations, newspapers, flyers, and write their own book with graphics. The options seem limitless. It would be a free resource for the students to use and apply their skills outside the classroom. I notice that it also has an AI option to create their own images and graphics, color palette suggestions, and great pre-made templates to start with.
I have used Canva to create digital manipulative and visual aids for my middle school math class. It is a great tool for taking math concepts and moving students past a procedural understanding to a conceptual understanding.
