The tool I would most use for collaboration would be the Google Drive-Collaboration platform. This site is most widely available for adult students since it is attached to Iowa education organizations. Adult students that live various distances from community colleges and others, would have generic access to this site and it's use with any of the other students and teachers in their courses. For working assignments with other students on homework outside of class, they could communicate easier and without cost. (other sites require extra fees). This would be more convenient to communicate about larger projects over a longer time period.
