The scientist in the video were very knowledgable about the phenomena. There were able to give deep definitions to help the viewers know what was going on. The students on the other hand gave very open ended answers. They explained things as they saw them. My students do not have the richest vocabulary but when they learn a word with fidelity they are then able to use it correctly. If I am strategic in teaching my students their vocabulary words and the definitions, my students will be able to use them when explaining certain phenomena.
