Creation Tools

I really like using Garage Band in my music classroom.  It is a great way for kids to understand digital looping while simultaneously creating amazing compositions with the given musical loops or importing live instruments/voices. Then students can export the material to use as background for slide shows, or even import it into their itunes library!

I too like using Garage Band. I have not used it to that extent, but I found it easy to change the length of songs and fade them in and out as needed.

One of the great things about Garage Band is that there are no copyright issues when the students create their loops.  It's a great way to add safe, free, and personalized music to a production without any worries of infringing on someone else's rights.  Thanks for sharing this awesome tool!

I didn't explore this site either but I am a teacher and could possibly use this when they are presenting works.  I think my daughter would really benefit from it as well.  She's really into music and performing.
