DC Digital Literacy: Share Resource

Bobette Seeley
I like Seesaw for elementary. It is easy to use and the students love using it. It makes communicating with parents easy. When we have a bookfair or an author visit you can send out a message and parents know what is happening. I like how you can post activities for students and parents can see what they are learning in specials and in the classroom. Students learn how to use the drawing tools, record themselves and type in Seesaw. A great resource to use!

I just learned about SeeSaw today so it is exciting.  Opening my mind to explore more sites and use the AEA a lot more often has created many new and helpful options and SeeSaw is one of them.  It covers many bases in the learning process in that it teaches design, writing and creativity all at once and allows our learners to use their imagination in a safe environment.  Add in that the parents can use it and monitoring is built in, makes it a definite go to.  Thanks

I agree that Seesaw can be a great tool.  I've used it as a parent for all 3 of my children.  It was a great way to see what was going on in their classes.
