DC Digital Literacy: Share Resource

Lynette Keuning
I explored Storybird am excited about introducing it to my second grade students this coming year. I think my students will enjoy turning their original stories into “picture books” by choosing illustrations to go with what they have written.  They will also enjoy being able to share their stories with others. I believe that Storybird will motivate some of my reluctant writers.  At first I envisioned just using Storybird for creative story writing, but after some additional thought, I believe my students could also use it to share what they have learned in science and social studies.
