DC Digital Literacy: Share Resource

Terry K
One of the most interesting new resources I came across with this segment is www.polleverywhere.com/.  I'm not very tech savvy, but I was able to set up an account in minutes and demonstrate it at home to my high school son. He thought it was awesome and said he had never seen it used in any of his classes. As a sub, I may not get a chance to use it at school, but I will definitely use it with youth groups. Combining it with word cloud provides not only great class participation, but also great feedback for assessing students' understanding of the subject matter.

I have used polleverywhere also.  It is a great resource for students to have to critically think on their own before they respond to peers.

I agree that this is a very user friendly site that could be used in many ways in the classroom.  I was unfamiliar with this site and after watching the 1 minute introductory video I was ready to try it on my own.   I would feel comfortable using this site in the future.

I have not seen this site, but it looks interesting.  The fact that the set up is easy and it is user friendly appeals to me.
