DC Digital Literacy: Share Resources

Kathleen Van Sickel
I have already used Create-a-Graph (Learning Tools: Critical Thinking). Students enjoyed creating graphs in science to chart plant growth and to chart a comparison of our 3 local TV stations predictions and accuracy of daily temperatures.

I am now going to use delicious. com to organize (Learning tools -Organization) my bookmarks!  Changing computers and sometimes buildings  has made remembering great websites difficult. So this will be a great help for me so I can always access the great sites no matter where I am. Then  I could show students how they can use this as well. The Learning tools-Creativity best choice seems to be the Paper-li for online newspaper creation has many possibilities. For the collaboration piece, I liked bubbl.us for a great visual presentation of a concept such as their example of dog breeds. Lastly for the Communication piece, I the Prezi- presentation to enhance any research project.
