DC Digital Literacy

Deanna Goodwin
I loved Prezi and the flexibility it gives you to create quality online presentations. I love that you don't have to have a file or the exact computer that you created the presentation on. For collobrating, Google Drive is an awesome tool! I love that you are able to comment on student work or work together with colleagues on lesson plans. Such a useful tool! Animoto is a creative way to make videos to share with students, parents, or friends/family. I love how easy it is to use. I've used Kahoot in the past and love how it engages adults and kids. Students love to use it to review math facts or material they have learned. Evernote is a great resource to use for organizing materials. I haven't use it enough but love that you are able to create notebooks for different students or information.

I would be interested in trying Prezi or something like it as well.  It would be neat for the students to be able to work on a presentation together and it seems like this option would allow great flexibility like you said.  I would definitely like to start using these collaborative tools with my students and even with my coworkers!
