I really like the idea of using Tagxedo. It is great that the students could take keywords from their research on a certain subject, and create an interesting visual to go along with it. I think it would be a fun way for them to share their findings while at the same time letting them be creative and excited about what they can come up with. It would be a different way to asses the students as well. I use Pinterest a lot myself and I think it would be a good site for kids too. In my experience, I feel that they are pretty good about blocking out inappropriate things and if the students use the other information we learned about search engines in this class, they would find some creative ideas for class projects that they could share.
