As a teacher/librarian I function more as a resource person for teachers and students. I have definitely added some tools into my options with many more from which to choose, whether for referral to others, personal use or possible library use.
Collaborate - If I were creating some instructional materials in the library and involving students I would definitely consider Padlet as a viable tool which would be easy for kids to use.
Communication - I was aware of Diigo but had not connected with Diigo groups so this is something I want to pursue.
Creativity - Powtoon will help to create a library instruction video for incoming kindergartners created by the outgoing class.
Critical thinking - As I learn more about coding and the need to start early, Tynker may be a useful tool, while Quizlet may help in some library skills assessments.
Organization - Mindmeister to help visualize thoughts could be useful for those with limited or poor verbal skills.
