I found the resource, Class Dojo. It is an opportunity for efficient interaction with parents to let them know what is going on in the classroom. You can share images and provide a calendar with reminders and updates. As a former teacher of very young children, I think this would be invaluable as sometimes they don't communicate as well as we would like. I believe this application would help the parents become more engaged in the student learning, and the student would respond with more participation and pride in their accomplishments. It could be done in a way using goals for the class, and would establish good teamwork as well.
I am a substitute teacher considering a full-time position, but I definitely plan to use this if possible. I set up an account easily and just made my school a homeschool. IT could also be used this way in a daycare setting.
